Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

It isn't very fun to get back to normal life after a week off.  It was hard to get up with the alarm clock at 6:00 and get out the door.  When I first started the run I felt good but at mile one I really cramped up and started hurting so I walked about a mile and then ran another mile.  When I got home I also rode the bike for a half hour.  Running in Utah seemed a lot easier than here.   I think it is a lower elevation, comparatively flat ground, and I got extra sleep and didn't have to run so early.  I enjoyed last week's running, and already miss it.

I think it does make me stronger, just not fun at 30 weeks pregnant!

You are awesome! Not too much longer--you have had a great pregnancy so far!

I'm with Tracy, simply getting out (especially at 6AM!) at this point is a good thing! I'm glad the cramping went away, and I hope it doesn't come back for at least another 7 weeks! :)

Maybe Utah just like pregnant women running, so it makes it easy for us to run!
