Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

I was tired and achy this morning and didn't feel like running at all.  I probably would have stayed in bed but my husband is gone for a few days so I won't be able to run.  I thought I better get a few miles in today.  I guess it is good I did but I am actually look forward to a few days of mandatory running break and sleeping in!  I think I will try to take my kids to the track tomorrow evening and get a few miles in.

The break will be good for you. Have fun with your kids at the track. That's a good idea. I'd come join you, but I've got to tend Cade tomorrow night.

Great job motivating yourself to get out and run. I used to take my kids and run at the track when they were small. They'd keep busy climbing all over the bleachers.

Enjoy your sleeping in the next few days!

Glad you got out there anyway! You're still doing great!
