Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

Today was a slow run.  I am having a harder time breathing lately.  I am always out of breath.  I read an article about running while pregnant that said more of your blood supply and oxygen are going to the baby during pregnancy, so when you exercise, it is harder to get enough air.  I think that might be what I am experiencing.  I had a side ache this morning which I think I get when I don't breath deep enough.  Consequently, the run was slow but still a good run!

I'm a worry wart and this post makes me nervous. You make sure that you take care when you're exercising. Make sure you're always running with a phone or someone else.

But, as always, I'm impressed by your miles! How many weeks pregnant now?

Michelle- congratulations! I didn't know you were expecting. You are really keeping in shape and being active!

I wish I would have done more of that when I was pregnant.

Just take it slow and easy, Michelle. Running is not the most important thing that your body is doing right now.

BTW, thanks for having Annie over last night.

I didn't mean to alarm anyone, thanks for your concern. I am 14 weeks and now I can tell that even though I am trying to keep my fitness level up, my abilities aren't quite the same as pre-pregnancy. I am still doing the same runs right now, they just seem harder. I am sure they will continue to get slower and slower:)

Good run Michelle! You are still in great shape. I don't know anything about pregnancy but I know you are awesome! =)
