Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

Today I ran to Carolyn's house that is a little over a mile away.  I didn't run with my neighbor who has a garmin so I don't know the exact mileage.  When I got to Carolyn's house I ran 4 miles with her.(she was running 20).  Then I ran back home.

It was a fine run but I felt like I was running uphill the entire time.  I know I wasn't, but it sure felt like it.  It was really nice to only do 6 and close to home because I was still able to enjoy a lazy Saturday morning with my family and cook a nice breakfast instead of getting home later like I usually do.

It's easier to notice the uphills than the downhills, so when they're mixed together it seems like there's an awful lot of uphills.

Did it feel uphill to you on the way home from my house?

Nice job with the run! It is certainly nice to have that long run done before family time on Saturday. Sometimes our legs just feel blah...I'm sure you will feel better Monday after a nice rest! :)
