Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

Today I did the Kenpo workout from P90X.  It is a lot like kick boxing.  This is my favorite P90X workout.  I was glad it was on the schedule for today.

In other news, my short term goal of running a marathon this summer is going to be put on hold because I am pregnant.  My new goal is to run as much and as long into pregnancy as I can.  In the past I have usually ran until about 4-5 months.  I would like to run longer this time.  I am 9 weeks right now and due August 20.

I wondered whether you would announce your pregnancy on the blog today.

Congratulations on the pregnancy. You're doing a great job with running and doing P90X. I'm sure you'll have a very fit pregnancy.
