This morning when I was getting dressed to go run I wondered if it was even worth getting up early to try and run anymore. Sometimes I think I should just sleep in and forget about the running attempt. I still covered a little over 3 miles and ran most of it but my ankles, and calves burned and my stomach pain/cramps are always there. I think once I have the baby running will feel awesome. Today when I was about a half mile from home I met another runner at an intersection. She was in front of me just a bit and really running pretty slow. Which says a lot if I say it was slow. I knew I could pass her and my stomach wasn't in pain so I kicked it in and passed her but then I had to keep the pace up so I didn't look silly passing and then stopping. I got a good little workout burst at the end and it was nice to run fast without pain. Even thought I am slow and can't really compete with most people, show me a slow running and my competitive nature kicks in!
