Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

This morning I had a nice surprise, as I as getting ready to run, Carolyn called to see if I wanted to run with her.  She was close to my house and running a recovery run so my slow pace wouldn't slow her down.  It was a nice change of pace to have someone to run with.  It was also nice to run with Carolyn because we haven't ran together much lately because of my slowness and her intense marathon plan.

It was great running weather this morning.  I was too hot at the end of my run and wish I had worn shorts.  Now tomorrow I will compensate and wear shorts and it will be too cold.  Gotta love spring.  I felt much better about running today then I did yesterday.

I'm glad things worked out for us to run together for a little bit this morning. You definitely did not slow me down. The part I ran with you was faster than the part I ran by myself before I met up with you.

I hope you ladies had a good time! Nothing better than running a few miles with your friends and catching up on life!

Your morning sounds so much better today than yesterday. I'm glad you had a good one.

Spring weather is unpredictable, isn't it? Enjoy your nice days...you had some crummy ones last week.

Glad you had a good morning - a good run with friends will always help with that!! I hope the storm from today doesn't hit you tomorrow - it's a doozy!
