Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

My run was a bit of a struggle.  I just wasn't feeling the love of running this morning.

I saw Carolyn dropping her son off at seminary this morning.  My neighbor, Michelle, had to point Carolyn out because I was too focused on running.

When I got home I found my husband still in bed.  He is not feeling well and is taking the day off of work.

:( There's always tomorrow. The love will return...

What Tracy said. We don't feel the love of running every time we run. But we slog through the tough runs for the reward of the great runs.

I hoped I wouldn't startle you too much when I hollered at you this morning.

Good run despite not feeling like running. It's days like this where it's more of a mental run than physical.

Carolyn- I wasn't startled at all. I didn't even hear you, Michelle had to ask if it was you and then I noticed.

Yup, we struggle through the bad to feel the good - kind of like life in general!

Way to keep up the hard work despite it all!!
