Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

My P90X friend, Ali, is not going to workout this week because her mother is in town.  I thought about waking up early to run but I just wanted to sleep in today.  So I did!  My kids even went downstairs without coming in my room and I got some nice extra sleep.  I  chose to ride the bike so I could read the book I haven't been finding time to read.  I rode for 8 minutes and then I had to stop and feed my kids breakfast because they were asking for soda, and candy, and chips.  After breakfast, I rode 40 more minutes.  It wasn't too strenuous today, just a little nice easy exercise and a book:)

We all need mornings like these. They help keep us human. I love that your kids wanted soda, candy and chips. It's what every kid wants for breakfast....me too sometimes!

And Kudos on getting time to read.

Have a great day!

Sleeping in, biking, and reading. Sounds like a great morning.

Yes - rest days are SO important! Nice job getting a little in.
