Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

I went to bed later then I wanted to last night and then woke up at 5:00 thinking it was time to get up.  I went back to sleep for an hour but it just doesn't count the same.  I am going to be tired this evening.

The run went fine, not great but fine.  The last couple of runs my ankles hurt at the beginning about 2 miles, then they feel better.  Any suggestions for what to do?  I don't know if I need to stretch them more, or if it is just because of pregnancy with weight gain and loose ligaments.  Mostly I am just glad to get the run finished today.

I had a hard time getting to bed at a decent time last night because I took a nap between conference sessions yesterday.

I wish I knew what to tell you about your ankles, but I don't.

I would think it's probably the loose ligaments of pregnancy, but I have not a clue what you should do about that!

I hate those days when sleep is all messed up! Sleep better tonight!

Weird, my ankles were hurting a lil bit yesterday too. It naturally went away after a few miles. I hope I'm not pregnant =P
