Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

I was really tired this morning but still got up.  My hip was feeling sore this morning, and I'm thinking I should take it easy a little longer to make sure it heals properly.  So my neighbor, Michelle, and I walked fast for 3 miles and then I came home and road a stationary bike for 45 minutes.  Michelle is a great exercise buddy for me because she really doesn't mind walking or changing our routine.  I am going to do the elliptical for awhile and she will do it with me.  It is nice to have a friend to work out with and not feel like I am robbing her of her miles.

I stretched afterward and iced.  My hip feels better now than before the exercise.  I hope that is a good sign.

Good plan. I'm glad Michelle sticks with you whatever you decide to do.

If you don't feel like running on Saturday, I'll see if I can drag Carly out and see what she's willing to do. Or I can always go by myself.

Nice work Michelle! Way to stay smart ;)

Oh, and what an amazing friend you are for helping Carolyn out yesterday with dinner!! I've never had anyone do that for me, but it may be because I'm just lazy and don't want to do it - not so much busy :)

It is awesome to have a friend who you can count on to keep you motivated! Did you wear the new shoes? How do they feel?

Smart workout today Michelle. Always great to have a very supportive friend like that. Keep it up!
