Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

I slept in this morning until I naturally woke up.  It was nice to not have an alarm wake me up.  I feel good about getting the 6 miles done this morning but I won't lie, it was hard.  For me pregnant running feels like the first few runs after you have had a lot of time off of running.  Do you remember how it feels to try to get back into shape and it is all you can do to make yourself not stop?  But the good thing is after a few tough runs it seems to get a bit easier and you see the rewards of you efforts.  Well, for me it is like running those first few runs over and over and over again, and it never gets easier.

You're really doing a great job of running through this pregnancy, even though it's not easy.

You really are doing a great job! My doc described running pregnant as running pushing a 40 pound jogging stroller with a corset on- and I agree with it 100%!! Keep up with it, you do get more used to it - eventually :)

Nice run Michelle! I can't imagine running while pregnant. You are doing awesome!
