Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

I ran with my dad this morning.  He took the day off of work and was able to run a little later in the morning.  We had a good run together.  I really enjoyed the company and running with my dad.  We usually go on a run together when we are visiting each other.  When he was in Denver last fall he couldn't keep up with all of the hills.  Since then he has upped his mileage and looked for hills to run so when he comes to Denver again he won't be humiliated.  I was glad I was able to run the whole way without pain!

How FUN! I'm so glad the three generations were able to get out and get a nice run in together :)

I used to go hiking with my dad. We'd choose a hike date a week and go and explore some wonderful trails around the valley. It is some of the best memories I have with him!

Look what a good job you're doing of motivating your dad!

When are your parents going to come to Denver again?

BTW, I'm anxious for your Saturday post.

You had an awesome week of running! What a nice way to cap it off--a run with Dad AND watching a marathon! Cool.
