Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

I left a few minutes earlier today so my neighbor didn't catch me as early.  At the end of the run, maybe .3 miles left I could see her behind me and decided that if she was going to pass me she was going to have to work for it.  I sped up and she never passed.  I ran to the end and then ran back to her and ran in to the end again.  She still did the whole 4 miles faster than me but it was nice not to be passed at the very end.  It was too cold this morning, I am ready for warm weather not cold with snow on the ground.

:) Way to push it in the end!

I can't believe that you guys have snow! That would make me want to stay in bed!

I saw you on Cresthill when I was leaving the school parking lot after the seminary drop-off, but I knew you didn't see me.

I couldn't face the cold weather this morning, so I haven't run yet.

You've got great dedication to get out in this annoyingly cold weather and you are quite the competitor to push it at the end. You've got a lot of natural speed and you'll be able to take more advantage of that in the future when you're not pregnant.

Congrats on keeping ahead of your friend. It's the little victories that make life so sweet :-)

Nice dedication running in the super cold and snow.
