Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

Total Distance
4.20

I did not want to run this morning.  I slept in so I felt like the day was already started and I wanted to get on with the day minus running.  However, I knew I would regret not running if I skipped it, so I headed out the door.  My plan was to run a shorter distance and get done quicker.  When I started running I felt pretty good and decided I might as well do the whole route and not wimp out.  I am excited I was able to run the whole 4.2 without any walking.  Now I am glad I did it and can get on with the day!

It's funny how you don't want to run until you do it, and then you enjoy it and are glad that you did it. I have that experience frequently.

I feel the same way EVERY day! I just always have to think about "you'll feel good when it's done!" Only thing that keeps me going most days. Keep up the good work!
