Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

I did a 12 mile run this morning and it turned out really well.  I needed a good longer run to get my confidence up.  I have been doing 8-10 miles on Saturday runs so bumping it up to 12 was good.  I felt great during the run, most of the time.  After I was finished my skin really bothered me.  I had a bit of a rash or something all over.  A shower, lotion and change of clothes seemed to take care of it.

I'm glad you were able to get rid of the rash. And you did a great job on the speedy portion at the end.

So how far did Ben run today?

Ben ran 10 miles today. He has run quite a bit the last three days in a row so he said he was feeling a bit tired today.

Nice run! Running is all a mental game and the confidence booster will take you to the finish! :)

Glad the mystery rash found a way to disappear. Sometimes I get them after a cold and sweaty run as well, but usually just in 'hot spots' like under the bra strap and around the waist area. Don't know if it's the same thing, but either way I'm glad it decided to just leave!!

Great run Michelle! I'm glad you feel good during the run. I get those rashes too, but only during cold weather for some reason.

Strange about all the rashes...I'm glad to hear they go away, in case I end up getting one some day.

Great job on bumping up your long miles. It's fun to accomplish more than we're used to doing.

Nice long run! It's always great to feel confident after pushing yourself. Sorry about the mystery rash.

Great job on the 12. I have a friend who used to get rashes after her runs, too. She had no idea what caused them, but they also went away after a shower.
