Goal Type:

Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

My neighbor and running buddy has been out of town this week but she got back yesterday.  It was fun to have someone to talk to this morning, but I also enjoy being alone and listening to music.  She wasn't on board with adding a Wednesday run because she doesn't want to wake up early 4 days in a row.  So I guess I will get one day a week with alone running and conversation the other days.  I think it is a good way to break it up.

The run today felt great.  It was a little cooler then yesterday but still very pleasant compared to a month ago!

I almost forgot until Carolyn called to ask.  I had my ultrasound yesterday, it's a boy!  The baby looks healthy and everything is going well.  It is exciting to know the gender, the baby seems more real and I look forward to a new son.

It's great that your run felt good today, and I think you'll enjoy the variety of having at least one run/week by yourself and the others with Michelle.

Congratulations on the ultrasound! I'm so glad that everything is going well and the baby looks healthy, and you'll have three boys and a girl like me, at least unless you decide to have another one.

I ran up Cresthill Lane around 6:45 this morning and thought that maybe I would see you, but I was probably too late.

Congrats on a baby boy!! It's good to know that everything is going good with the pregnancy.

Ah, a baby boy! Congrats! 3 boys together sounds like wonderful trouble. I pity your girl--you two will be living in a frat house :)

Congrats on another boy! I'm glad to hear that everything with the ultrasound went well. How far along are you?

Great news on your healthy little guy!

I like have quiet time to run too, especially now with all the birds singing in the morning.

CONGRATS!! I too will have 3 boys and one girl. Some days I'm not sure I can handle three boys - girls are SO much easier, well...before they hit about seven and hormones :)

A good alone run maybe good for the mind, nice job on trudging along on the miles. I'm glad I get to share this running pregnancy thing with you! Even if just virtually :)
