Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

I met Carolyn and Michelle for what was going to be an 8 mile run at the Hiline Trail.  Carolyn ran 18 today and wanted Michelle and me to run 9 so she would be half way done at the end of our run.  So, one more mile, no big deal, we did 9 with Carolyn.

There was quite a bit of snow on the trail today.  We guessed between 40% and 50% of the trail was covered in snow.  I am really looking forward to summer.

I had to slow down a bit as the run progressed.  I get winded at my old normal pace.  My new easy normal pace has slowed about 30 seconds.  I am lucky to have good running friends that will slow down a bit with me.

As I am writing this, Carolyn probably has about 1-2 miles left on her 18 miler.  Way to go Carolyn!!

We are off to take the kids to the swimming pool!

Thanks for doing the extra mile with me today.

You are doing a great job of keeping up your running during this pregnancy.

You're tough running in the snow for 9 miles. It is nice to have friends to run with, and it sounds like you've got a great running support team.

Nice miles--it's always so much easier to run with people who are willing to match your pace! Good job.
