Running Accomplishments:

I have run 5K throughout my life.  I just ran the Colder Boulder in 25:33 which is a PR for me.

I ran two half marathons this past summer and my fastest time was around 2:09:? (My chip had issues and I was given a gun time but not a chip time, but I know I finished under 2:10:00)

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to run a marathon during the summer of 2010.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running for fitness and fun.  I would like to improve my pace to comfortably average 30 seconds faster then I run now.

Personal:

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy friends, piano, singing, crafting, and organizing/cleaning my home.

Today was a tough run.  I never really found my stride so it was a battle all ten miles.  My neighbor, Michelle, and I ran 1.35 miles to meet Carolyn and Carly.  We ran with them on a 7 mile loop.  Caroline kept running with us after the 7 miles.  When we were getting close to home we had ran around 9.7.  I knew if I ran 10 my total mileage for the week would be 30 so we kept running a bit more until we hit 10 miles.  It felt SO GOOD to be done.  I am excited to rest today and tomorrow.  I think my body needs a bit of a break.

And it wasn't easy running in the slippery snow today.

You've had a tough week with running 5 days when you were just getting used to 4 days/week. Besides the rest over the weekend, you should do an easy week next week.

Thanks for running with me this morning. It was nice to be with other people for half of my miles.

Great run Michelle! Way to tough it out. Good idea to rest, don't be like me and hurt yourself haha. Hope you have a good week!

You did a great job singing in church today!
